How to Create a 6-Week IB Exam Revision Plan

Final IB exams are around the corner — and if you're in Year 12 (Southern Hemisphere), now's the time to build a study plan that works with your brain, not against it.

Step-by-Step: Build Your Own 6-Week Plan

1. Map Out Your Exams

List each subject + paper + exam date. Start with the earliest ones.

2. Choose Daily Focus Blocks

  • Morning = Most difficult subject
  • Afternoon = Lighter review
  • Evening = Past paper drills

Aim for 2 focus blocks/day (45–60 minutes) with breaks.

3. Prioritise High-Weight Papers

Paper 2s and 3s often carry more marks. Schedule extra time for those.

4. Reserve Flex Days

Keep 1 day/week unplanned to catch up, rest, or revise weak areas.

Balance Is Key

Over-scheduling leads to burnout. Use checklists, not timers. Mix active recall with past paper practice.
