How to Manage IB Stress Before It Manages You

Stress is normal in the IB — but unmanaged stress kills focus and motivation. Here's how to stay balanced throughout the year.

🕐 1. Start the Week with Clarity

Write down your 3 biggest priorities for the week.

Seeing them on paper reduces mental clutter.

🧘 2. Create "No-Study" Zones

Designate one evening a week with no homework.

Your brain needs contrast to recharge. Make it a ritual — movie night, walk, or time with family.

Movement clears cortisol (stress hormone).

It doesn't have to be gym time — dance, stretch, or walk around the block.
